About the Society for Consumer Affairs Professionals in EuropeSociety for Consumer Affairs Professionals in Europe (SOCAPiE) is a not for profit membership organisation for senior managers in consumer affairs. We are a pan European operation with members from every sector of the business community. We represent those who “influence the delivery of consumer satisfaction”.
Events
We run a number of events throughout the year. Ranging from training events for front line staff (such as handing telephone complaints, letter writing) to strategy discussions (our "Setting the agenda" programme) and networking events for senior management. We are designing a number of workshops for middle to senior management in which we will facilitate the development and sharing of new ideas and research and the preparation of high level implementation plans.
We have a popular 2 day Annual Conference on the 4 & 5 October at the Tower of London.
Last year’s Annual Conference was held at London Zoo, and we had the great pleasure of a different and energetic approach from many great speakers, including Nigel Risner, James Timpson and Ian Mullen interview by Liz Barclay from Radio 4 “You and Yours”.
Our Early Bird offers you a £150 discount to attend this great event if you book before the 30 June 2007.
