Calabrio, a leader in workforce performance, is expanding its role in the healthcare industry through a transformative new initiative aimed at improving patient care and access. The company has announced a partnership with several key players in the field, including ORX, Queen’s University, WELL Health Technologies, and DIGITAL, Canada's Global Innovation Cluster for digital technologies. This collaboration, known as CareAI, seeks to harness the power of AI to streamline healthcare services, enhance the patient experience, and improve operational efficiency across virtual and human-powered healthcare contact centers.

In partnership with these industry leaders, Calabrio is investing $30 million in the initiative, with $14 million secured from DIGITAL. Calabrio’s acquisition of Wysdom—an innovative partner in the CareAI initiative—has enabled the development of Bot Analytics, a solution that enhances agent performance and optimizes patient-agent interactions. By incorporating Bot Analytics into the new AI-driven platform, this initiative aims to revolutionize the way healthcare organizations manage both virtual and human agents, ensuring greater efficiency, better patient outcomes, and a higher return on investment for healthcare providers.

The CareAI initiative is designed to address several key challenges facing healthcare contact centers today, with a focus on improving patient-centered care through cutting-edge AI and machine learning tools. Some of the key features of the initiative include:
