Troops announced new offerings that will enable sales, marketing, customer service and product teams to receive real-time alerts of critical developments with key clients in their Hubspot, Intercom, Zendesk and Jira applications directly in Microsoft Teams, upon which they can take immediate action that will help drive more sales, increase revenue and respond to customers quicker. For example, 
  • An alert can pop up in Teams notifying reps of four unresolved bugs remaining in a pilot in Zendesk that is closing in two weeks 
  • Sales managers can view in Teams all Hubspot records of deals that are set to close in the quarter and confirm with sales reps that they are still on track
  • A ticket can be created in Jira to start a technical scope for a target that has progressed to a later stage in the sales cycle directly in Teams
  • Customer care agents can receive immediate notice of a dramatic increase in product adoption by a tier-2 customer in Intercom and schedule a call to upsell that client
This new functionality will complement Troops' flagship services that connect Salesforce and Slack in a similar fashion. Troops also allows users to input data and update records, hold group discussions with other internal team members and collaborate on accounts where appropriate, all without leaving Slack or Teams. These alerts can be set up by "non-techie" people without the need for custom coding or the specialized expertise of an application developer. 
By enabling users to do everything from their preferred enterprise collaboration tool, workers save several workdays over time that would otherwise have been spent on data entry and toggling back and forth between apps that contain as many as 100 fields—sales reps spend an average of 30 percent of their day maintaining database contacts.
